It was so much fun leading a career development workshop for FEMMESHacks. My workshop covered how to build a resume, LinkedIn like a pro, and tips to create an effective business card.

It was great to see so many high school girls interested in career development - I truly believe you can start you career at any point and the earlier the better! The girls asked really great questions about how to use LinkedIn and what items they should be thinking of putting on their resume.

Check out the Resume Template that I built for this workshop below! We used this format as a sample and I showed the girls how to edit it so that it fit their purposes. I purposely gave them a more advanced template to show them what kinds of opportunities they should look for as they head into college to start building their resumes.
